After breakfast at Hotel Aconchego, we will bring you to the most important cultural monuments of Recife and Olinda. First, the tour brings you into the historical center of Recife, with its rivers and bridges, and beautiful monuments from times of Portuguese and Dutch colonists. From Marco Zero, we will enter the Rua Bom Jesus, where we will pass the first synagogue of the Americas. We will show you the old prison (1855) where now is a market of handcrafts. Olinda is our next destination. In 1982 Olindawas designated a cultural heritage site by UNESCO. Founded in 1535, the old city is spread acrossseveral small hills looking back towards Recife. |
