The Projeto Mar applies the diving certificate issued by the CMAS - Confederação Mundial de Atividades Subaquáticas (The World Underwater Federation) - the only worldwide knowned and recognized by UNESCO. In Brazil, this confederation is represented by a federal entity, the CBPDS - Confederação Brasileira de Pesca e Desportos Subaquáticos. A diver who is certified by CBPDS/CMAS receives a licence which has international recognition.
